About two weeks ago Julie Walther, owner of Stage Hands Clothing from Chicago, IL gave Ideal a “high-5” via Instagram. So, we couldn’t help but reach out to say, “Hey, thanks for noticing!” We love doing business with folks who share the same ideals (pun intended thanks to our marketing and branding maven) – anyway, we were getting ready to make another buy on shirts and hats, so it seemed like a good time to tap Stage Hands Clothing for gear.
There are a few reasons we really love their clothing –
- The company shares a deep respect for USA manufactured and union-made goods. We love that. It speaks to the quality of the product (we’ll get to that in a minute…standby.)
- Their products are high quality, made to last. In other words, you can treat the clothing really, badly and still look great on the job.
- They provide custom options to suit individual needs. You see, the company’s Chief Experience Officer is an active IATSE union stagehand and sound engineer. He knows what being on the job entails, therefore, clothing that’s 100% cotton for electricians, 100% wicking-friendly for guys and gals loading and striking is key. Fit is important too. For example, our owner, 5’2” and petite wore the women’s size small Viscose Hemp Organic V Neck on our first 105 degree day – it’s perfect for a small frame (in fact ladies, if you wear an XS, opt to size up to the S for a little less snug fit.
We’re looking forward to placing our first order soon and our GM will have shirts for crew in the coming weeks.
The company offers more than shirts and hats – they carry pretty much everything and anything a professional show services or labor crew would need such as shirts, vests, hats, overalls, trousers, gloves, accessories like branded pouches, pads and bags and more!
Give a shout out to Jules @ Stage Hands Clothing – she’ll take good care of you!
